EFC International has made the decision to subsidize fuel expenses for all employees. With oil and gas prices breaking records and no resolution in sight, it may force employees to consider other employment closer to their homes, which would clearly adversely affect our company and our employees.
EFC INTERNATIONAL CELEBRATES 25TH ANNIVERSARY
EFC International is celebrating its 25th anniversary. 2008 marks the anniversary of EFC International providing specialty metal, plastic, electrical and assembled components to the OEM and distribution marketplaces. The company was established in 1983 and specializes in providing its customers with a “One Source Solution” for specialty components, technical support and engineering assistance.
EFC MARINE INNOVATION AWARD
A near-record total of 79 new products were entered in this year’s IBEX (International Boatbuilders’ Exhibition and Conference) Innovation Awards Program. EFC’s TwinDisk® fastening for composite panels and structures received Honorable Mention for innovative achievement by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and Boating Writers International (BWI) at the 17th annual International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition & Conference (IBEX) in Miami.
