STUDS - BONDABLE BIGRINGS®

Product Description

This ingenius circular fastener solution utilizes two concentric rolled rings of stainless steel wire, with diameters determined by the required PCD of the male fasteners. Accurate jigging and welding ensures instant alignment with mating components. They are manufactured in both metric and UNC thread forms in numerous lengths and diameters, and are designed to be fixed for life with very high torque and shear resistance.

Features and Benefits

bigRings® are increasingly utilized in the Marine industry for porthole surrounds, inspection covers, and similar applications. They are easily bonded in during manufacture to form a highly accurate and immensely strong array of fixing points.

These are available in male or female threaded form and are made in Zinc plated mild or 316S11 stainless steel versions. For female versions, please refer to the Molded-In Nuts section of our Specialty Nuts Encyclopedia.
