CAP NUTS - DOMED STYLE - METAL

Product Description

Domed Style Decorative Cap Nuts are a quick, permanent and efficient means of retaining plain shafts of steel, non-ferrous and plastic materials. Not normally recommended for use on hard plated or hardened surfaces.

Features and Benefits

Common Applications include wheel to axle assembly on toys and barbecue grills.NOTE:* Retention values shown below are average and are based on tests utilizing mild CRS studs of hardness Rockwell B80 maximum and varying ± 002-.000(0.5-.000mm) in diameter from that specified. Tolerances on dimensions tabulated above are ± 1/64" (0.40mm). Application studs should be round and have ends free from burrs before assembly with rachet plates. Uncapped fastener (ratchet plate) is available upon request.

Available Materials: 1010 Low Carbon Steel Strip, 1050 High Carbon Steel Strip, Brass Strip (usually 70/30), Stainless Steel Strip (usually 302, 304, or 430), Aluminum Strip, Assembled 1010 Low Carbon Steel Strip, Assembled 1050 High Carbon Steel Strip, Assembled Stainless Steel Strip, Assembled Metal & Plastics, and Assembled 1010 Low Carbon and 1050 High Carbon Steel Strip
