BOLTS FOR METAL - CLINCH STUDS - STRUX®

Product Description

STRUX® Clinch Studs provide an external thread in sheet metals. They are a cost effective, high performance alternative to other staked or welded products. They are designed for maximum resistance to push-out and rotation, and eliminate problems associated with weld studs.

Features and Benefits

• Can be fed manually or automatically with any equipment used for feeding rivets, weld studs or conventional clinch studs
• High performance capabilities such as seat belts and air bags
• Easy inspection and non-destructive testing
• High resistance to rotation and push-out
• Can replace welding operations and be used with materials that can not be welded
• Speeds assembly process
• Gives a cleaner appearance than welded fasteners
• Displacement lobes
• Retaining groove and retaining ring
• Internal threads
• Can be used in sheet metal 1.50mm or thicker
• Heat treated for greater strength
• Works with plated parts and dissimilar materials
