Product Description

Powergrip fasteners for layered assemblies are ideal for attaching soft materials, such as plastics, rubber and elastomers, to a single thickness of sheet metal. They maintain the integrity of the soft material while providing resistance to strip-out and loosening.
These parts are available in sizes M3 to M8 (#4 to 3/8"), in hex washer, pan, round, truss and hex head styles.

• Overcomes loosening in metal to plastic/elastomer applications
• Prevents crushing of soft material during assembly
• Can be used in a variety of materials, soft or brittle, where cracking or crushing of the overlay material may occur
• Individually engineered to meet the unique requirements of each application
• Specially designed shoulder designed to match the thickness of the soft material in each application
• Serrations and a small undercut on the bottom of shoulder increase thread engagement, strip-out and torque resistance, and prevent vibration loosening to provide a tight, uniform joint.
• These parts are available in all Standard Cold-Headed materials.
