Product Description

Developed by ITW Shakeproof, the uniquely serrated helical shoulder on the Cyclone® screw actually bites into sheet metal, enabling it to absorb higher tightening torque, which adds to increased backout resistance. A dramatically increased safe operating range (the difference between required driving torque and minimum stripping torque) makes the CycloneÂ® screw "user friendly" and permits the use of thinner sheet metal in many applications.
