Product Description

These Constant Tension Band Clamps are a one-piece self-adjusting spring band clamp made from modified Ck75, in 12mm and 15mm band widths, in nominal diameters from 13 to 80mm in different gradations. They provide a quick, secure and maintenance-free connection for hoses which are subjected to large fluctuations in temperature or which tend to "slip away" under the pressure of the clamp. Their band edges are rounded for hose protection, and for additional protection against corrosion they are also available with or without organic/inorganic coating.(*Note: Special Installation tools are available. Features and Benefits

As the temperature rises, causing the hose diameter to increase, Spring Band Clamps adjust and adapt. As the temperature falls, causing the hose diameter to decrease, they automatically re-tighten, maintaining their clamping force and guaranteeing perfect sealing of the interface. These clamps were developed for use in cooling and heating systems, fuel vent lines and air duct systems in today's car industry. Developed for the automobile original equipment market, they are now successfully used in all branches of industry.

Basecoat - Zinc - Aluminum (chromium VI-free)

Topcoat - Organic Coating

TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE - from 40°C up to 200°C

CORROSION RESISTANCE - Min. 1000 hrs in salt spray testing
