NUTS - SELF RETAINING PACNUTS™ FOR HIGH VIBRATION

Product Description

PACNUTS™ laminated locknuts help eliminate the dangerous problem of wheel separation that plague even the best-maintained commercial trucks and trailer fleets. Pacnuts™ are designed to internally deflect as torque is applied, providing a locking mechanism that resists loosening.

Features and Benefits

• Increased Joint Pre-load - Pacnuts™ create joint preload that remains greater than the external application load
• Increased Compression - The laminated washers compress to create additional preload, reducing loss of tension from settling, excess paint, thermal contractions, and vibration
• Resists Loosening - Internal deflection of the washers reduces the hole size and pitch diameter, controlling the clearance between the nut and the bolt.
