Tapered Flanged Bushings have the advantage of being inexpensive, light in weight, low friction, non-corrosive, and of possessing excellent compressive and tensile strength. They are suitable as light-load bearings or bushings.

Used as locators, sleeves, liners, or guides, Flanged Bushings insulate a component and prevent metal to metal contact. The flange portion acts as a stop when inserted into the component. The shank then insulates the shaft, bolt, stud, rivet, or other insert from the mounting surface.
