• Beneri® "C" Style Radially Mounted External Retaining Rings for Shafts

Crescent shaped, external and radially mounted Retaining Rings are ideal for low clearance applications. They are geometrical in shape for concentric radial performance. The 2103-5103 family of External, Radial Mount retaining rings are available in shaft diameter sizes between 0.125 and 0.812 inches, and groove sizes between 0.106 and 0.732 inches. Ring thicknesses between 0.015 and 0.042 inches. Excellent retaining ring for tight spaces.

  • Beneri® "E" Style Radially Mounted External Retaining Rings for Shafts

"E" Style, Radial Mount Retaining Rings are popular and widely used. The three prongs of the "E" profile make contact with the bottom of the groove of the shaft and provide a shoulder for effective retention of assemblies. The 2133-5133 family of External, Radial Mount Retaining Rings are available in shaft diameter sizes between 0.062 and 1.375 inches, and groove sizes between 0.052 and 1.230 inches. Ring thicknesses are between 0.010 and 0.062 inches. Most "E" rings can be installed by simply pushing them onto the slot on the shaft, using mounting pliers/installation tool.

  • Beneri® "Poodle" Style Radially Mounted External Retaining Rings for Shafts

These Retaining Rings feature wide "lobes" or "ears" which offer extra retention surface area against the retained part. The 2304T-5304 family of External, Radial Mount Retaining Rings are available in shaft diameter sizes between 0.156 and 1.000 inches, and groove sizes between 0.120 and 0.860 inches. Ring thicknesses are between 0.025 and 0.050 inches. For slightly thicker variations, see the 2304-5304 family of Retaining Rings with similar shaft and groove diameters.

  • Beneri® Axially Mounted External Retaining Rings for Shafts

External Retaining Rings for Shafts are safety elements for axially mounting universal use. Retaining Rings can transmit considerable axial loads between the element of the device which exerts the force and the groove in which the ring is assembled. Once the ring is assembled in the groove of a shaft, the portion of the ring extending beyond the groove surface holds an assembly in place, even under loaded conditions. The 2100-5100 family of External, Axial Mount Retaining Rings are available in shaft diameter sizes between 0.250 and 8.000 inches, and groove sizes between 0.230 and 7.660 inches. Ring thicknesses are between 0.025 and 0.187 inches.

  • Beneri® Heavy Duty Axially Mounted External Retaining Rings for Shafts

External Retaining Rings for Shafts are safety elements for axially mounting universal use. Retaining Rings can transmit considerable axial loads between the element of the device which exerts the force and the groove in which the ring is assembled. Once the ring is assembled in the groove of a shaft, the portion of the ring extending beyond the groove surface holds an assembly in place, even under loaded conditions. The 2160-5160 family of External, Axial Mount Retaining Rings are rated Heavy-Duty (for greater thrust loads) and available in shaft diameter sizes between 0.394 and 2.000 inches, and groove sizes between 0.362 and 1.880 inches. Ring thicknesses are between 0.035 and 0.125 inches.

  • Beneri® Reverse Lug Axially Mounted External Retaining Rings for Shafts

External Retaining Rings for Shafts are safety elements for axially mounting universal use. Retaining Rings can transmit considerable axial loads between the element of the device which exerts the force and the groove in which the ring is assembled. Once the ring is assembled in the groove of a shaft, the portion of the ring extending beyond the groove surface holds an assembly in place, even under loaded conditions. The 2108-5108 family of External, Axial Mount Retaining Rings are available in shaft diameter sizes between 0.500 and 3.938 inches, and groove sizes between 0.468 and 3.734 inches. Ring thicknesses are between 0.035 and 0.109 inches. Lugs are "reversed" for use in applications where clearance is minimal; provides smaller radial width and uniform/concentric support towards axis of shaft.
