These clamps have a smooth inner band surface, protecting the hose or bundle from damaged caused by pulsation, expansion or contraction.

1-Ear Clamps are suitable for use by OEMs, but are also ideal for maintenance, repair and service purposes. With this design of clamp, rubber hoses, plastic tubing, electrical cables, welding hoses, and numerous other materials can be rapidly and securely fastened.

Oetiker® 1-Ear Clamps with Inserts are ideal for demanding hose or tube clamping applications, such as rubber or synthetic materials. They feature the same ear with the "dimple" as a standard 1-Ear Clamp, providing increased grip strength and a spring-like "breathing" action with no loosening. The added insert has an oval outward dimple which is positioned precisely under the clamp ear, effectively preventing material from being lifted into the ear gap during clamp closure. This double dimple combination between the insert and clamp creates a particularly strong all-around effective compression seal. Clamp Size Range is 2.9 - 17.5 mm; larger sizes are available on request.

Compared to 1 Ear Clamps, Oetiker® 2 Ear Clamps are suitable for a wider diameter range. The geometry of the closed ears increases the effective clamping force, and provides a degree of elasticity to accommodate changes in size of the parts being joined, such as may be caused by thermal expansion or vibration. For perfect sealing, it is essential that the ears are correctly closed during installation.

The Oetiker® 2-Ear Clamp provides increased clamping range over the 1-Ear Clamp. The closed "ear" geometry provides an inherent retained load and a spring action in the clamp, permitting expansion and contraction during thermo-cycling or vibrating conditions. This is a robust, durable one-piece design that offers a positive, tamper resistant seal. Smooth edges prevent damage to hoses and the one-piece design offers quick and easy installation. The Oetiker® Clamp Buster Pex Clamp Removal Tool is a unique tool for all size Pex clamp removal with effortless torque action. A socket is applied to the 3/8" drive breaker bar and then placed over the closed clamp. This tool shears the clamp by rotating the tool 90° clockwise, then counter clockwise.

This Oetiker® Pex Clamp Kit contains the three most common clamp sizes used in the Pex industry, plus a 3-Handle Ratchet Pincer to install all clamp sizes in the kit. This high quality version of a contractor's grade Oetiker® Ratchet Pincer for PEX Clamps was developed and optimized for "Do-It-Yours" customers. The jaws are non-adjustable; however, the pincer includes a pin-gauge to measure its ability to provide the proper closing distance. It comes with the same performance characteristics as the contractor's tool including ratchet release and guide plates.
