These Heavy Duty High Torx® Worm Gear Clamps are used in areas where extremely high band tensile forces and destructive torques are required. They have more robust housing for additional strength over the standard worm drive clamp. They deliver high band tensile force, even tension force distribution, and their fracture torques exceed those of competitive products, greatly increasing the safety of assembly. These clamps are recommended for use in the commercial vehicle sector, in cooling water connections, and air ducts for high and low pressure applications, and are only available in 12mm band width, with or without a constant tension spring insert.

Features and Benefits

Features and Benefits

N/A
  • Euro-style inner band is stamped, not slotted, to protect the hose from even extreme compression
  • Patented asymmetrical housing prevents screw head from tilting out when tightened
  • Short housing saddle - provides even pressure around the hose without welding or rivets
  • Large Diameter Range - hoses of varying diameters can be secured with a single clamp size
  • Combination Screw - hex, slotted and Phillips, to meet practical needs
  • Emerging band end is deflected away from the screw head, forming a firm closure without pushing off the socket spanner
  • Optional spring insert further assures a continuous, self-acting tightening effect and sufficient radial tension, even at low temperatures.
