Hi-Lo® Plus fasteners, with alternating high and lo threads introduce a sharper 30º included angle on both high and low threads. In addition, the Hi-Lo® Plus incorporates a 45º angle step on the trailing flank of the threads. These sharp threads displace minimal material to reduce stress and cracking and further increase drive/strip ratios. Heads on these fasteners are to ASTM/ANSI standard dimensions.

These Hi-Lo® fasteners have a double-lead thread where the HI thread is sharper. This design increases performance in a broad range of low density materials such as plastic, wood, masonite and particle board. In addition, the 30º included angle of the HI thread displaces less material. It reduces splitting and boss breakage, provides better drive/strip ratios and holds securely.
